We were approached by a client who owned a charming vintage-style house that had originally served as a warehouse. They had a vision to convert the space into residential apartments while preserving the building’s rich heritage. Our task was to redesign the interior in a way that honored the building’s history while maximizing the available space. We focused on refurbishing the reception areas and staircases, breathing new life into these key spaces. The client desired an open and spacious feel, and we put our efforts into creating an environment that exuded a sense of openness. Throughout the process, we were mindful of the building’s original features and sought to enhance them, allowing their beauty to shine through the transformation.

      Despite our best intentions we ran into a rookie planning move, where we allowed scope creep to move us away (incrementally at first) from our approved planning design.
